Have purchased Frontpage 2003 software at some expense but now find that I
cannot publish my site. I have selected www.supanethosting.com as the host
and also chosen my domain name. Are Frontpage and Supanet compatible...if
not, whish hosts are and where do i find them ?

Which address is the Remote website..is it the webhost or my domain ?

As you can tell I am new to this and need some guidance...I was told that
using Frontpage was easy....er...no it isn't !!

Personally ~ I'v never used Frontpage to upload files to the Host
site,
I use 3dFTP, maybe it's just a matter of checking the connection
settings in Frontpage -
or selecting an FTP program to use instead ?
http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Software/FTP_freeware/ < - this
site has several examples of free ones, though
it maybe a case of test and see, I don't know how good or otherwise
they are.
though ~ I do seem to recall checking out SmartFTP at one time - if I
remember right it wasn't too bad at all.

If you can't publish, then you need to find out if the hosting company
supports the "FrontPage Extensions." You should ask them. Sometimes they
do, but you have to ask them to enable them on your account.

If they don't then you are missing a lot. One of the nice things about
using FrontPage, with the FrontPage extensions is the ability (if you
have a fast connection) to work with a website "live" meaning when you
change a page there, you are done and don't have to remember to upload
your changes.

There are many others.

Doesn't look like your host supports FPSE in any of their packages, so you
can't use FPs Publish via http:// method. Nor will you be able to use fp's
form handler and a few other things.

You'll need to use ftp to upload your website.
