When I go to the Publishing Dialogue Box and click the down arrow next to
"Enter publish destination" I must have 10 or more addresses. Is there a way
to delete the addresses there that I no longer use? Thank you.

You would have to edit the Registry, find:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\Fr
ontPage Explorer\Recent Publish List

and then delete the entries you don't want.

Is that the only way it can be done? I have been told never to edit the
regristry. Have I already done something wrong to have so many addresses in
there?

No, they're harmless. The only potential problem is that you might
pick the wrong one by mistake.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I have to publish to a lot of addresses
like: aaa.mysite.com/mysubweb, bbb.mysite.com/subweb, etc. Because of all
the subwebs, I get confused trying to pick out the right one. Is there a way
to have the subweb ending automatically vanish, requiring me to then have
retype only the subweb part of the address? Or, better yet, can you think of
a better way to structure the "address system" in the first place? I
inheirited this one and have been told it is the only way possible to
publish.

Sorry, but no.

Unless you can change the URL of your sites, what you currently see is what you get.
