hey a while ago i made a post about a extra drive showing up...i think it was labeled "F".I just reformatted and all that good stuff and it didnt show up good news there.Then after installing my HP photosmart printer the drive showed up again.Is it necessary or can i deleate it safeley,it really bugs the sh*t outa me

If your printer has a card reader in it, it will show as a drive in My
Computer, etc.

Does the HP printer have a flash memory card reader?

All Photosmart printers has a some type of digital card reader, which allows
the direct printing of photos without going thru the PC. This reader also
shows up in the Windows XP as a usable drive.

It could also be a temp ram drive created by the install. reboot and if so
it will be gone. My lexmark does it too when I install it.
