The link is to v 1.06.4 - release date???? - I've found Nov 29, 2003
and January 14th, 2004

Can anyone shed any light on this?

v 1.06.3 was the latest on 2003-11-25
v 1.06.3 is on the PL2004 CD - it was downloaded on 2004-03-12

The link is to an install file.

The readme says this:

(V1.06.4, Dec 2003)

This version is the last freeware release of PTFB

I apologize for posting hurriedly, setting off a furor and then taking off
for the day! What I should have said in my original post is that PTFB has
gone payware; and there no longer seems to be a working download link to
1.06.3; but I did discover that 1.06.4 is available as "the last freeware
version" at http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlptfb.html The author's site
contains no indication that any freeware version is available, so 1.06.4 may
not be available indefinitely.
