I just installed a new burner(LG 4167) and I'm having a few problems. I cannot get both burners working. Now I can't get anything
to work. Does it matter what power plugs you plug into an item, provided your PSU can handle your config? It seems if I plug
different plugs into different item they work/don't work.....

It does matter to a point as each cable can only handle a certain
current.

Looks like your PSU is at the margin of what it can handle.

Hi again Ron. Have you got your CD\DVD drives on the same ribbon cable ?.
If you have, then one of them must be set as Master, and the other set as
Slave.
On each of your 2 ribbon (IDE) cables,
1 Device is Master, the other is Slave. OK ?.

He posted at 16.20 Connor. With HD,burner, master\slave query.
I think he might have his wires mixed.
