Hello.

My PSU's both fans (back and bottom) stopped working suddenly.
Before RMA, what do you suggest to check?

It's an Antec TruePower 430W, which is about a month old.

TIA.

Get it replaced on warranty.

Does the compuer work without the fans? If the computer doesn't work
normally I'd say someting telling the power supply to shut down.
Having two fans fail at once indicates that the fans are a symptom,
not a fault. There is someting else wrong.

That's a pretty big PSU, what kind of system is it powering ?

Hello, Al.
I have no problem using my PC - PSU is working without fans, however because
of those fans not working temperature gets too high (CPU 60ºC and was
rising) - this is how I found out the fans are not working.

The system here contains,
AMD Athlon 2600+ / Gigabyte MB / 1GB RAM
HDD (80GB) / DVD writer/ DVD-ROM / FDD
Internal modem / sound card / video card (FX5200)
CPU HSF / 2 case fans (front and back)

As soon as I get RMA, I'm sending back to the shop.. :(

Regards,
