PST - OST Size restrictions

Implementing Office 2003, trying to use GPO to limit PST
size however discovered that limiting the PST size via
GPO also limits OST size (not smart) So Exchange cached
mode will not work. Does anyone know of a way to manage
PST size without affecting OST size? I desperatly need
help on this or we will have to disable PSTs all
together. Thanks.

From what I can find, the WarnFileSize, MaxFileSize, WarnLargeFileSize, and
MaxLargeFileSize policies affect .ost and .pst files all in one shot.
