I just converted my old '02 format personal folder PST file into '03 format.
After compaction, the '02 PST file was 17MB, and the '03 PST file is 27MB!
The content in each file is identical.

I know that the '03 PST format permits a larger maximum size. But I can't
find anything about other advantages/disadvantages with the new format.

Is the '03 format always much larger? Is it less efficient?
For me, smaller PST file = faster daily synching with my other PCs.

Thanks!
