I had to reinstall win98 First ed. I copied the
outlook.pst and then pasted it after reinstalling Win98.
The file is in the correct folder but when I try to 'open'
it when in Outlook, it has a message: "unable to open the
folder.....outlook.pst in not a personal folders file."

I was trying to bring over my old email list and the
calendar items as well as the old emails stored. Is there
anyway to 'jog' the file?

Make sure the file isn't marked read-only. If it's on a CD, move it to your
hard drive and remove the read-only attribute.
