.PST Files

I have a new computer and I'm setting up my email account in Outlook 2007, which is no problem. The problem I'm having is with the .pst file. When you set up the new email account in Outlook 2007 it automatically creates a .pst file for you. I do not want to use that .pst file. I have added the .pst file to the Data File menu but I cannot associate it with the email account. How do I do this? It's driving me crazy because I have tried every way that I know of and I've had a lot of experience with Outlook. I did it on my laptop by going into the Control Panel/Mail and setting it up that way but when I tried doing it on my desktop (after I had already set it up once before) it will not let me associate the .pst file that I want to use.

Please help.....

You have to set the data file as the default msg store, assuming you copied
a previous pst to your new PC, use the mail applet in the control panel to
add this pst, add your account

In the Mail applet in Control Panel, click the Data Files button, select the
old PST you added and choose Set as Default. Select the data file the setup
added and click Remove. Start Outlook and it should be OK.
