PST files not accessable

I'm trying to access .pst files that I saved to a CD from a former computer
on the same server when
I try to import them Outlook says they are not accessable. Does anyone have
a solution?

If you are using Outlook (and not Windows Mail), copy the .pst file to your
vista computer, and in Outlook, open the file (don't import).

....and, since you saved these .PST files to a CD, the very first thing you
need to do after copying them to your HD is to set them back to READ/WRITE
again. Writing files to read only media (a CD) automatically marks them
READ ONLY and Outlook won't even acknowledge they exist when they're set
this way.
