Maybe I posted in the wrong one, hopefully someone can
help me here.

I have been working at this it seems forever. I have
croped the .pst file and repaired it. I can import the
folders and such, but not the tasks. It is very important
that I get my tasks back. Does anyone know another way I
can do this?

Also, I now have office 2003, before I was using 2000.
When I recovered it on the old machine it would work and
import everything except the tasks. Now it imports, but
keeps it all in the lost & found. Still, no tasks.
..

Can you connect to the file by File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... and move
them manually?

I have talked to so many people about this issue and they
never once said anything about that. Thank you so much,
worked perfect!

Now, how can I get everything imported? WHen I import is
does not work.

You're welcome! :-)

Hmm, I just tested it but it worked for me. Are you sure you have selected
the right folder and marked it to import? What happens if you just select to
import the Tasks folder?

Well when I select one option to important it comes up
with a error. When I just open like you said everything is
fine. :->

Alright, do you still want to narrow it down or is it fine the way it is
now?
What was the exact error you got?

Enjoy your weekend!

Well, the message is generated when I go to import
the .pst file. I guess the question is, can I keep it the
way it is? Were it is it own sperate file. When the
message comes up it just stops the importing. Not sure on
the exact error, I just dont want problems if I try to
import files in the future.

Can you create a new pst-file which you use to import (in other words;
recreate the original export)? Does it also lock-up when you try to import
the original file into a new pst?
