.pst file repair possible?

We have one machine where the Outlook .pst file appears to have become
corrupted. The user had creates folders for project-specific correspondence
storage; most of those folders are no longer accessible through the
shortcuts in Outlook, nor are they listed when we attempt to create new
shortscuts on the Outlook Bar. Are there any utilities that are available
that allow an end user to attempt to repair and recover the .pst file?
