Dear All,
I had recently upgraded the PST file format to Outlook 2003, from the
older version by creating a new pst file & importing the entries. But for
whatever reason the PST backup that I used to use does not seem to find the
new outlook file that I had created. Is not the pst backup compatible with
the Outlook 2003 file format?

Thanks in advance,

It should be, because it doesn't operate internally to the PST. It just
schedules a periodic COPY of the PST and this happens at the file system
level where the internal format of the PST makes no difference.

However, tried downloading a new copy from the MS download site and see if a
later version (if there is one) behaves differently.

Did you get the OL2003 version of the PST Backup tool from Microsoft.com?
