Omi,
I didn't mean to waste people's time.
I'm sure that you didn't do it to intentionally waste anyone's time.
I was just looking for different ideas
Basically, as I stated before, we read and reply in all of the
Excel groups though we can only do so one group at a time.
It's can be very frustrating when we see a post in one
group, spend a good deal of time answering it,
and then find that someone else already answered the
same question an hour ago in another group.
The reason for my post in this ng thread was twofold. One, to
alert you to the generally accepted guidelines of posting ettiquette
and to alert others that there was another thread with the same
question.

We're here to help. We do so on our own time. We don't work
or have any association with Microsoft. All we ask for in return
is a simple "Thank You" when we have helped (and that you
refrain from multiposting). Usually, depending on the question,
one group may be more apropos than another to post in.
If you're not sure, post in any one (again as we do read and respond
in all of them). Crossposting (as opposed to multiposting) is generally
considered okay because when someone answers in one group, the
answers show up in all the groups that were crossposted to.

Anyway, welcome to the newsgroup community.
If you do get a chance, there's a lot of good information in those
two sites I recommended in my original post.

John
