yes ofcourse...otherwise it will not connect..I do connect it with my camera wire but the PC doesnt read the PSP wire...and I dont wanna use the Camera wire..

I have deleted the other thread dealing with the same subject - one subject one thread please.

What is a USB-2004?

I'm assuming it's a USB memory stick - correct?

Tell me, does this usb stick have Mummies or Werewolves on it?

A PSP-2004 is a PlayStation Portable handheld (model 2004) - but I've never used one of these before. :)

I don't understand the bit where you say:

Does that mean it connects with one cable, but not another?

In that case I think you've got a broken cable - or the non-working one isn't supposed to be used with that device.

no...the cable works with other computer...my PC just recognises it as UNKNOWN DEVICE and tells me to update drivers..
