Hello All,

I'm trying to obtain info about currently running
processing on my XPe system. My build is minimal, with no
control panel, task manager, etc. pslist.exe from
Sysinternals (latest version, downloaded yesterday) runs
great on my desktop and would provide me with all the info
I need, but when I try to run it on my XPe system I receive
the message "Process performance object not found on
(null)" . Any idea what I'm missing for this to function?

Thanks,
Michael Larkin

Michael,

Do you have the performance monitor component in the config? Have you tried
to use DepWalker to see what DLLs PSLIST requires?

Hi,

Performance Monitor has dependencies including Microsoft
Management Console and, via cascading dependencies,
eventually Internet Explorer, etc, etc. My footprint rises
from 62MB to 144MB, which is larger than my flash disk.

I can try shutting off auto resolution of dependencies and
by hand adding components one at a time. That is a slow
and painful process. If anyone has any other insight I'd
appreciate it.

Thanks,
Michael Larkin
