Pseudo-appointment style scheduler

Hi all,

I hope somebody can help me with this. I have been assigned to build a
scheduling tool for my unit. The basic functionality needed is a block
style schedule that includes some kind of personnel assignment. (i.e.
everybody must attend event A, but only joe, jack, and jane must attend
event B etc...) The scope involved is 2 days a month with about 100
people.

Ideally schedule entry/editing should be visual so that deconfliction
isn't an issue, and a report of 2-4 pages should encompass everything
as most personnel will carry a paper copy of the schedule. (I have a
good idea of how to do the reports)

My biggest need is some kind of daily view calendar form or control the
rest should fall together.

I am an intermediate to advanced Access user and know my way around VBA
fairly well. But this one has me stumped.

Any Help appreciated.

Thanks, but all I found there was the report stuff. My problem is
creating the form for inputting everything.

I haven't seen slick Outlook-like interfaces for Access. DBI-Tech has some
products that might work for you http://www.dbi-tech.com/.

If Access supported control arrays, a solution might be easier to develop.
There was also a "Recurring" demo at
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp#Hookom,Duane. This
might be of some value.
