PS3 - Jerky Transitions

I have done quite a few PS3 (3.1) slideshows. On most of them, I start out
with a picture that has effects on it. Then the 2nd slide transitions into
the actual photo without the effects, then the 3rd slide is set to NO
transition, but zooms in on a part of the picture. I have the 2nd picture set
to show about 2-3 seconds before zooming. On the majority of the slideshows I
have done, when I play them after rendering them to .wmv's, they transition
and zoom in smoothly. However once in awhile, between the 2nd and 3rd slide,
it will not smoothly zoom, but will hiccup and zoom out for a brief
millisecond, then begin the zoom. I have read where most people having this
problem forget to uncheck the transition box, but I have already done this.
Why does it happen to some slideshows while others is just fine? It's driving
me crazy because it doesn't happen all the time and I'm doing the exact same
thing on each slideshow. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the advice, John. Actually most of my slideshows are about 15-20
photos and I'd say 80% of them do just fine with the procedure I use for the
transition from the effect photo to the real photo to the zooming in on the
photo. It's just once in awhlie, I get that hiccup where just before it
zooms, it zooms out for a brief millisecond (enough to notice), then
continues to zoom in smoothly after that. Doesn't happen all the time. Oh
well, if everything else plays fine except for that, I guess I'll be
satisfied. <sigh> Oh and by the way, when I import my photos and mp3's, I
normally let it play all the way through to get a feel for the photos and
music so I can then rearrange them to sync together better and I've never had
problems with it being jerky. Just when I try and do the transition I learned
from the tutorial about how to create a story from one picture. You guys on
this forum and other sites that give help to us newbies are awesome! Thanks
for doing what you do to help others learn!

Thanks, John, I will have to try that and see if that's where the problem
lies. It's just weird to me that 80% or more, they work like they are
supposed to, it's just 1 or 2 out of 20-25 that don't and I always use mp3's.
But I'll try your suggestion. I have also posted on the other forum as well.
I'm just being a pest all around! :-D
Thanks for your insight!
