how do i set up my sons ps2,(in my sons bedroom ) thru my
comuter to the internet(in my bedroom).he has a network
adaptor (ethernet)attached to his ps2, is it just a matter
of pugging in a long rj 45 cable to my computer(network)
plugin and follow online instructions.or are there
problems.
I can not plug straight from ps2 to broadband modem as it
is a adsL with a USB from computer and rj11 to phone
(filter) plugin.
much appreciate to hear from anyone who has gone down this
route.

You will likely need a broadband router like the Microsoft MN 500. With the
router, you can go directly from the modem to the router and to each device
from there. You may even be able to set this up using a wirless setup.

You need to consult the PS2 documentation to see what it's capabilities are.
