hey all,

this is an new post continuing from 'optical mouse dpi problems'.
it's been sugested that i use PS2 witha refresh rate changer, problem is i
cant find one for winXP.

tried a win95/98 version of ps2rate with no luck, for obvious reasons.
also, i`m using a MS mouse, not a logitech mouse as i see logitech have a
program built into their mouse software.

anyone know of a winXP ps2 rate changer?

thanks

Dunno about XP, but with Win2k you can do it through the device manager.
Just select the properties for the PS2 port and increase the sample rate.

Also, depending on the mouse drivers you are using you might be able to
do the same through the Mouse icon in the Control panel.

If you have the Microsoft Intellimouse software installed, you should be
able to do it through the mouse control panel too.

tim

you have to reboot after you change it for it to take effect
winxp defaults to 100 anyway, which is fine
whats the big deal ?
