Proxy settings

I have a cable modem and can access the web threw
microsoft but when I log on to my Aol account it will not
allow me to use Internet explorer threw AOL. I talked to
AOL and they refered me here to find out what my proxy
settings need to be to allow AOl to use Internet explorer.

That seems very strange to me. Isn't AOL capable of telling how you
should connect to the internet through their connection? They are the
only ones supposed to know.
