I'm trying to setup a 2003 server as a proxy server on my home network. I
want to create a sandbox like a typical work LAN scenario with a windows
2003 server and client workstations connecting to www via the server. Is
setting up my server as a proxy server the correct way to go about this? If
so - I have not been successful looking up instuctions in the help files.
Is Proxy server now embedded in some other technology? IAS?.....RRAS???
Where do I go to setup my windows server as a proxy server?

Thanks

If you have 2 network adapters in the Win 2003 Server, you can configure
RRAS to provide NAT (network address translation). This is a built-in
routing capability which will allow your client machines to connect to the
Internet through the Win 2003 Server. To have a true proxy server you need
to install Microsoft ISA (Internet Security and Acceleration server) or a
third party product.
