Hi,
Hope you can help with a problem I am encountering.
I recently installed Ghostsurf Pro (It was free from a mag and I though I would try it out!). But when I try to use it and access a site using IE I get the following message:-
Cache Error!
An error of type 400 occurred: Bad Request. Unknown URL type.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Generated by tinyproxy (1.5.3)
Now, I understand Tinyproxy is a proxy as well but I don't recall ever having loaded it and I can't find it anywhere on my P.C.
If I stop using Ghostsurf and then use IE (For any web site) I get the page cannot be displayed screen closely followed by a blank screen which is locked but with the heading “Cannot find server” and it is trying to download from res://c:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm
I have run Adaware and Spybot to remove any Spyware. I have run my antivirus software.
This doesn’t happen on other XP logon’s – just mine, so it must be something I have inadvertently installed. Firefox works fine.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks in advance
