Could someone explain active connections in Proxo? Either I get connecting
to 8080, or 00 active connections or 01 active connections. Like to know
more about them and can't find anything while searching Google Groups.
Thanks,
Adam

Thanks for the effort, but I've read a lot of this stuff and still can't
find an answer to my question

Hi,

AFAIK Active connections is how many connections are being fed through
it, by default Windows sets this to 2 non stop, but you can set it
higher:

Do you know how to get Proxomitron to conect? If you don't here's how
(Presuming you read the help information posted by Boomer on how to set
Proxomitron up:

open up the proxy settings in your browser you want to use and set it to
use the IP Address 127.0.0.1 / Port 8181 (I don't use port 8080 now,
seem to get a lot of intrusion attempts - if you do set it to 8080 I'd
recommend installing a firewall)

If your on a LAN IP Address: 192.168.x.x - 192.168.x.x / Port 8181 or
whatever your LAN is (this allows other systems on the LAN to use
Proxomitron as well).

I also recommend you get JD5000's config filter set its the best IMO!:
