I want to connect a WIN98 and a WINXP PC. Which protocol do I use and how do I install NWLink IPX/SPX/Netbios protocol on my WIN98 if I need it?

You can use Netbeui or preferably TCP/IP.
To add protocols, open Network Control Panel and add a protocol.
Windows XP supports TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and Netbeui (if installed from XP
CD first).
