Interesting error...
Let's try to work by the process of elimination.
1. Please, launch continious ping from the client station to the server and
launch the RDP session. Then, try to load the excel sheet and see what
happens to the ping.
2. Please, see if the session becomes disconnected after the error or reset.
It would also be helpful, if you could control the session remotely while
loading the spreadsheet. Then, you would be able to see, if the spreadshhet
is, in fact, loading.
3. Check the server event viewer for Terminal services warnings.

That should give us enough info on how to proceed.

Hi Jetro CockpIT:
Thanks for the help, this is the test result:
1. The ping is not interrupted while the remote session got disconnected.
2. Yes the state of session is disconnected while the excel spread sheet try
to load-( you will see some part of spread sheet on screen and the bottom
left corner will show the statues of loading and at that moment the session
is disconnected.
I have an admin try to remote control the session while I am in RDP as soon
as the spread sheet try to load he lost the control of my RDP
3. No, there is no warning message on the server.
I f you need the screen shot of the statues of server while the RDP session
and the screen shot of error message while the spread sheet is loading in
RDP, please let me know I can send them to you.
Once again thank you very much.

Actually, the last time I saw a problem which looked like what your
describing, it was 5 years ago on TS 4.0. What happened there was that a
macro Excel spreadsheet disconnected the RDP session, and then hogged the
CPU. But it was fixed with SP5.
Does your session disconnect when the user is an admin as well?
What happens after the session disconnects? What is the CPU status?

working workstation with only SP1 installed and then I will post the updat
result on that test.
Once again thank you for your effort.
