Protecting your Exe files

I want to distribute my .exe files to desktops/laptops but
I wish to force users to re-install with a new version
every 30,60 or 90 days - using a licence key.

Is there a recommended way of controlling/implementing
this (in particular any features for this using VB.NET) ?

What do some people use for this ?

I shelled out for XHEO licensing and have been pleasantly suprised by it. I
think it can implement what you are asking for using trial limits. Trial
limits are forced to expire after a certain number of days. When it
expires, you can have it go out to a web service and request a new trial
license.
