Hi There

I'm just finished developing my own database in access
2000, but my problem is that someone can still see my
coding i did in visual basic. I have a start-up form does
load and then after that the switchboard, but if your
close the switchboard you are at the window of ceating
tables, queries, etc. And this is where you can see the
code also. Is there a way that if the user close the
switchboard he must go out of the database and not to the
other window, but then i suggest that i can't give the
user the option 2 do queries hey?

Please help me.
Craig

You need to hide everything, and then distribute your application as a mde.
This will prevent all changes.

Try downloading the 3rd example at:

http://www.attcanada.net/~kallal.msn/msaccess/DownLoad.htm

Note how all of the application is hidden. (it takes no code to do this).

You only need to convert my sample to a mde, and disable the shift key to be
ready for distribution. (I left those steps out, so YOU can look at how this
was setup).

Hi There

Thank you but the downloading servers is giving problems
at work. You don't have any alternatives or i'll have to
wait till the problem is sorted out. Thank you for your
trouble.
