How do I prevent individual email messages from deletion
You don't get to control what someone does on their property with their
software to which you sent them a message over which you no longer have
control.
If you are asking about how to prevent your own mistakes in deleting
messages in your copy of Outlook, well, there exists a prompt by default to
ask you if you really want to permanently delete a message. The normal
"delete" isn't a delete at all. It merely *moves* the item into the Deleted
Items folder. If you delete items from the Deleted Items folder, or you use
Shift+Del, then the item is permanently deleted; however, Outlook is
configured to prompt you before you commit that permanent delete.
Tools -> Options -> Other tab -> Warn before permanently deleting items
If you don't backup your data then you deem it as worthless or reproducible.
Start looking into backing up your data if you consider it important. The
backup program included in Windows is a poor solution. Paragon has their
free program. Comodo has their free program. Or you can buy one, like
Acronis TrueImage. There are LOTS of backup solution, free and paid. Even
if you could disable permanent deletes in Outlook, that doesn't prevent your
..pst file from getting deleted or corrupted.
