I have folders on my PC that I want to burn to CD...Can I
make the folders password protected on the cd? I know I
can password protect files in Word, but what about whole
folders?

Thanks

Julie,
Right click the folders, click 'properties', click the 'sharing' tab' then
click 'make this folder private'.
Then only you and the Admin account (if different) will be able to access it
(if Admin takes ownership - a logged event).
Hope this helps.

Julie,
As a single user, I hadn't realised till just now that you need to be using
NTFS for that method to work.
(To check if so, open 'My Computer' right click the 'C' drive, click
'properties', 'general' tab. The file system will be stated as NTFS or
FAT32).
If it's the latter, you'll need a third party application, cos XP won't do
it for you.

No, that would not be possible.
If you did not have access to the files, you would not be able to burn them
in the first place.
