Norton Internet Security provides content filtering for a price along with
Anti-Virus, Firewall and other features.. Many ISP's provide it free to
their customers. Some of them are:
MSN
AOL
SBC Yahoo!
Comcast (Almost sure)

Check with your ISP. The larger the ISP the more chance they provide it.
But, please not the PC should be set in a heavily traveled room, and not let
the kid on when no one is home. (Use Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Home /
Pro to setup account security.) IM's should be logged, ect.

You could use the parental controls in IE, but your teen will find the way
to remove the password.

spend some time with your children...that's the best way to go about
this...just don't set them in a room with a PC.......learn to be a
responsible parent....

What does "ect." mean? Or did yo mean "etc."?

Consider installing a first-rate internet security program
with Parental Controls:

Norton Internet Security 2004
http://www.symantec.com/sabu/nis/nis_pe/

-- Includes Norton AntiVirus 2004
-- Includes Norton Personal Firewall
-- Includes prevention of annoying web pop-ups
-- Includes Parental Controls
-- All in one, easy-to-install package
