Hi Bob!
Whatever you do in Excel you will still be exposed to Print Screen or
to a Screen Capture program as well as the copy and paste approach
you've found plus the ability to access sheets (as per Paul's
comments) even with worksheet protection imposed.
What you have to do is to decide upon the objectives of your wanting
to protect the worksheet.
Accidental changing of data and formulas: Worksheet protect is OK. It
can be circumvented but then they're on their own.
Security of your formulas: Send a values only version using Ron de
Bruin's SendMail program obtainable from:
Ron de Bruin
http://www.rondebruin.nl/Add-in
Security of data: Restrict access to data that doesn't concern a
particular individual by only sending extracts of the data that does
concern them. Again, you can use Ron de Bruin's SendMail Addin for
this objective.
Security against copying: Physical security / Supervised access /
Isolated Computer (And with detachable small hard drives available
these days, your security people had better have eyes like a hawk).
I've only picked on three objectives and they'll surely be more. But
the point is that you must define your objectives and work towards
them within the limits that exist.
