I have a worksheet that I have not used in several
months. I now need to change some of the data on that
sheet. I password protected the sheet and can not remember
exactly how I typed it in. I have tried but just can not
get the combination right. Is there anyway to delete the
sheet password and reenter it. I know how to do it on the
Work Book but not on the Work Sheet. Can you please help
me?
Thank you,
Gary B.

Gary, this has been answered MANY time, but here it is again, it depends on
what version of excel you are using so if the first on does not work the
second one will

Sub Sheet_Password_Breaker()
ActiveSheet.Protect "", , , , True
ActiveSheet.Range("a1").Copy ActiveSheet.Range("a1")
End Sub

this one will get all worksheet and workbook structure passwords

Public Sub AllInternalPasswords()
'Breaks worksheet and workbook structure passwords.
'Bob McCormick probably originator of base code algorithm
'Modified for coverage of workbook structure / windows
'passwords and for multiple passwords
'Norman Harker and JE McGimpsey 27-Dec-2002
'Reveals passwords NOT "the" passwords
