We are distributing our lectures, and with these to run in virtually any computer out there, with and without PowerPoint installed. We also need to prevent changes to the presentation by users. Please advise. I appreciate it a whole lot.

Hi,

This should help:

Make an AutoRun CD
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00037.htm

Password protect a presentation

You will need PowerPoint XP (2002) or later.

Glenn's suggestions will help if you're distributing to PCs.

If you need to support a wider variety of computers, consider converting to Acrobat PDF
or even possibly HTML.
