Protect a paragraph or Field like 'protect section'

Hi,

I am working with word 2000 using c#. (Trying to do some
automation).
I know that in Word, one can protect some section so that
user cannot edit it.
The similar way, is it possible that I can protect certain
paragraph(s) or some field so that user cannot change it.

Hi, Sandeep,

You won't be able to do that in Word 2000. It's a new feature in Word 2003.

And can I use that feature of word 2003 using word
automation also which I am trying using c#.

Get and install 2003. Use the feature a bit in the UI until
you're familiar with it. Read the Help topics on IRM and
protection. Then record a macro, setting the kind of
protection you want to use to get the basic syntax you
need.
