Pros and Cons

I have a small desktop application that I am writing, as
with most applications it needs to store data. I've looked
at access, xml and msde. I'm sure there are pros and cons
for each. Does someone know of a good FAQ or a website
that outlines the reason to go with one or the other?

Another option. If the quantity of data is small, you may also concider
just serializing a class or arraylist to disk in binary.
