Properties won't display

Windows 98 on the workstation...Outlook 2000...Exchange
5.5 as part of SBS.

When I right click on Outlook and select properties, the
hourglass appears for a fraction of a second and
disappears and properties never displays.

Any thoughts?

It runs fine except, I am trying to recover some personal
folders that are "lost" and I was going to look at
settings in property.

If you mean the desktop icon, it's "special" and won't yield a typical
property page, but the list of your mail accounts, the same one in control
panel > mail. Easiest way to find personal folders is search for *.pst. HTH
