Hello,
I've seen this problem posted before, but I haven't been able to find a
resolution anywhere. When anyone in my Enterprise fires up Active
Directory Users and Computers (AD 2000), does a search for a user, and
right-clicks on one of the results, the "Properties" option is missing
and "Rename" is the default. This behavior does not occur on the 2003
ADUC MMC. The behavior occurs for all groups, including the
Administrator account. It occurs on multiple computers, including the
Domain Controllers themselves. The functionality isn't missing
completely, as highlighting the search result, and going to the "File"
menu, allows you to access the properties.
Any help is appreciated,
Chris Bingel
