I recently purchased my old corporate laptop running Win2000/Office 2000 where all corporate configurations were restored back to original. I now have full admin priviledges, and I have configured Outlook to use my personal account with Comcast; however, I am unable to import or open my Contacts and Calendar *pst files that I have been using for the last 4 years. I am receiving the following errors.

1) Personal Folders - Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use.
2) Micorsoft Outlook - File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to access the file C:\*.pst.

Do you know how I might be able to configure my installation to permit the use of the Contacts and Calendar files saved as *.pst?

Make sure the properties of the PST haven't been set to "read only"
