Proper newsgroup/tech support

Can any of you suggest where I can go to get answers about a wireless
connection problem? My daughter, helping a friend configure her
laptop for wireless, did something to her own laptop in the process.
Now hers is saying "windows cannot configure wireless connection".
She has Windows XP. It's giving instructions to go to a Microsoft
site for help....can't do that without a connection.

Besides that, go to start run, then type services.msc.

Under services make sure "Wireless Zero Configuration" is set to automatic
and is started. This will allow windows to control your wireless instead of
a third party app.

Thank you very much for the quick response. She did a System Restore
when she got back home and that fixed it. But I will save that site
for any future problems!! :)
