prompting for passwords

I have recently upgraded from Windows 2000 professional to XP
Professional. I have a number of network drives that map automatically
at startup. In Windows 2000, I used to be prompted for the passwords
for these drives when the machine booted up. XP no longer seems to ask
these questions, but just tells me that some of the drives could not be
mapped when my machine has been started up. When I go into My Computer
and click on the drives I am prompted for the passwords and the connect
sucessfully. So how can I get XP to prompt for the passwords at startup
time?

If it were I: I'd delete the connections and then
re-establish them under XP. If they require a password,
then give it.
