I am building a database that we will use to import data
that has been exported from a mainframe into excel. I
want to create a macro -- or put some VBA behind a
command button that will allow the user to search for his
file on his computer or network to import the data into a
specified table. The "transfer spreadsheet" macro would
work fine -- EXCEPT the user must save the excel file
from the mainframe to the EXACT location with the EXACT
name each time the file is to be imported. I would
rather have Access prompt the user for the location --
something to work like win explorer...is this possible?
