PROMPT FOR QUERY

i have a form and i want whenever i open it to prompt for the query it will
be based on. moreover i would like to make a list of only two or three
queries i could choose from. is that possible and if yes how? i wouldn' t
mind if i could use a report instead of a query.

if you should be using a parameter query to filter the records. Help has

needs. The choice is not between a report and a query. Data are contained
in tables. Queries provide a means to sort and otherwise manipulate the
data. Forms and reports are used to present the data in tables and queries.
