I've got a Promise SuperTrak 6000 that will behave fine for about 2-3
boots, then it goes "critical" and wants to rebuild itself. I've got
a mix of Seagate and WD 160G drives (6, the controller is full)
running on Win2K (fully patched). The boot drive is SCSI (problem
free, of course)...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

What are you doing power supply wise ? With that
many drives it may well just be sagging at boot time.

I have one of those as well... 6x75Gb, 7200rpm IBM
deskstars.

How good of a power supply do you have? (Used to run
mine on a 300W and I think it was iffy... now running on
a new Antec TruePower ~450W.)

Is it always the same cable or drive that goes?
