When I open a project to edit, I get lots and lots of red x's. All of the media files and photo's that are used in the project are there, but they do not show up on the storyboard or timeline

Any ideas?

I hope I'm not stating the obvious, but are your source
files still in the original location? Yes, the media
files/photos may be on your collection list, but if they
were moved, or the names changed, since you first dragged
the pics into the story board, it would not read them
anymore. You can check this by right clicking each frame
in the storyboard, click Properties, then compare the FULL
file name/destination path with the FULL file
name/destination path of the file in the collections
list. If there are changes, you will have to drag your
pics from the collection list to the story board again, or
use the Locate Missing File feature on right click menu.
