Hello there,
I am having a problem reading some of your text.
With respect to the speed, I would imagine its because you have 400 clips. That
would involve a large project file hence the slow down.
To convert still images you need to import each still into your favorite editor
and then use the save as option to save as a BMP
You do not need to convert WMV or WMA files
To convert MP3 files use a program like audacity or MusicMatch (links on my
website) and again import the file and then use the Save-As or Export-As option
to create a WAV file.
The best overall advice would be to break the project into smaller projects,
compile each of those into the DV-AVI format and finally import each of those
into one new project and save the result into whatever format you need. You
really need to do this as it will enable the computer to process much faster
and it will also enable an easier identification of a problem file.
So even though I am having problems with the text of your message I hope the
above helps...Do please ask again if I have not covered something properly.
