Hey everybody,
Not sure if I should be sending this to the Project group or the
Outlook one, so I'll send it to both. I developed an Outlook form
which does the following: Whenever a user creates an appointment in
his/her calendar, he/she can specify a MS Project 2003 Pro project, as
well as a couple custom field values, and on save the appointment and
its information will go into the specified project as a task assigned
to that person. We're using this since our employees were already
used to using their calendars to add their work, and it works fine.
We are also using the Project Web Access add-in. My problem is this:
once the appointment is added to a person's calendar, when they hit
the "import new assignments" button, they now have identical
appointments, the one they created and the one imported from PWA. Is
there any way I can get the web access appointment task to overwrite
the appointment made by the original user? Any help would be
appreciated.
