Some programs won't start .
Error states the Attributes are set to "read only" , when I remove the "Read
Only" Attribute
and Apply and close, the settings do not stay. When I go back and check
them, they are set to "Read Only" again.......
Anyone have any suggestions?
 
Try it from the Windows CMD prompt.

Change to the directory the program is in,

Type: ATTRIB -S -H -R (program or file name)

Is the file located on a CD disk or maybe in a read only directory?
