programs seeking addresses

A message that a program is seeking to access the Outlook
Contacts comes on screen and has a 'no' box to regulate
access. This box persists despite repeated NO entries and
interfers with use of Outlook. There is a 'yes' box with
time limits but not for zero time. Is there a way to set
the system to always (automatically) refuse requests by
outside programs for access to Outlook Contact information?

What version of Outlook are you using and do you have any service packs
installed? Also do you have any add-ins installed such as antivirus
software that may be checking incoming messages?

Stopzilla installed.

The problem you're describing is a known issue with Office XP SP3; security
has been updated to more closely match the security in Outlook 2003. You
may be able to get around the problem by either disabling Word as your
e-mail editor or updating some of your add-ins, especially the virus
scanners and spam filters (although many major manufacturers of these
add-ins have already released compatible updates). See the following
